Emma Hartnell-Baker, MEd SEN, is a teacher, former Ofsted inspector, and former owner and manager of two nurseries rated Outstanding by Ofsted. After more than ten years leading teacher training across Australia, she returned to England as a doctoral researcher in word mapping. Known as the Neurodivergent Reading Whisperer®, she helps chidren start self-teaching quickly and easily as possibly for that child, and is determined to end the harm caused when children are taught as if every child learns at the same pace and in the same way.
