The Speedie Readies bundle is £225, which includes the Speech Sound Play pack, and the first 36 readers in hard copy form. The technology costs around £130 per year, providing monthly access to all 100 books in the online library. The Monster Spelling Piano app is a one-off purchase. You will need a tablet to use the Monster Spelling Piano app.
In Year 2 of running Speedie Readies, you already have the hard copy resources, so only the technology subscription is required.
Budget for £450 in Year 1 (approx. AU$900) and £120 (approx. AU$240) per year thereafter.
The savings from supporting children upstream will amount to thousands and prevent high levels of anxiety faced by children who struggle to read and spell. Let’s stop the Wait to Fail approach.
